By law, we are required to take down any material, i.e. photos, audio or video for copyright infringement. There is also a strong likelihood that we will delete the member's account.
Copyright laws also extend to cover music videos, videos of live concerts (even if you captured it), as well as all TV commercials, movies, and even slide shows owned by someone else.
Why was my profile photo rejected for copyright infringement?
To ensure that any material (video, photo, audio) posted on our site meets the following guidelines:
- You are the owner of the material. (If you've made a copy of something, whether taped, burned or downloaded, then the material is copyrighted and belongs to someone else.)
- You have the express permission to use and distribute the material. (Giving credit to the owner does not constitute permission.)
